The House

The house is situated in a quiet residential part of Clive Vale, in Hastings and is a large end of terraced house. It has four, good sized bedrooms and enjoys a quiet and calm atmosphere.

As explained above, the house has 4 large sized bedrooms, a communal kitchen with dining area, living room, two bathrooms with two showers and a front & good size rear garden. The front garden is a patio area with flower border. There is a secluded rear garden with paved patio and flower borders and is a pleasant place to sit and relax. The garden also has rear access for bicycles.

Individuals have their own room which is their private and personal space which they can furnish how they wish.

Although rooms come furnished, residents can and do bring their own furniture for their own room. They are welcome to furnish their room to their taste and wishes.

The communal areas are for everyone to use as and when they chose to.

Residents respect each other’s privacy and there is an agreement to knock and wait for an invitation before entering anyone’s room. The housemates respect each other’s rights to privacy.

The house is a 15 minute walk from the Old Town and Seafront, with easy access to the town & other amenities.

The house has regular Gas Safe gas inspection & NICEIC electricity inspections & certificates. The house also has a ‘zoned’ fire alarm system which is also regularly checked, to ensure maximum safety to residents. Regular fire evacuation drills are carried out so residents can practice, in order to be familiar & prepared in case of a real fire/evacuation.
